Challenges

Solution

Over an eight-month engagement, multiple testing cycles were executed with real testers from Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Slovenia, and Croatia.
Each tester completed full betting workflows, including:

Functional testing of registration, login, and KYC verification
End-to-end payment testing covering deposits, withdrawals, and bonus flow
Cross-device validation on desktop, laptop, and mobile (iOS and Android)
UX feedback through post-test questionnaires to highlight usability issues

Testers were selected for their ability to complete identity-verified KYC and real payment transactions, something traditional QA setups cannot easily replicate.

Outcome

The project uncovered multiple critical issues that, once fixed, significantly improved Bet-at-home’s user journey.
Among the most important findings were:

Email verification was not working
Payment methods such as PayPal, Sofort, and credit cards were failing
Deposits did not appear despite confirmed bank transactions
Withdrawals were delayed up to four days
Welcome voucher malfunctions
Preferred deposit methods were unavailable

After receiving detailed bug reports, Bet-at-home resolved these issues and conducted retesting to ensure everything worked as expected.
